These terms are between you and [COMPANY_LEGAL_NAME], trading as WPMass, [COMPANY_ADDRESS] ([COMPANY_REGISTRATION_NUMBER]), referred to as "WPMass", "we" and "us". They cover the WordPress plugin Mass Custom Fields (the "Free plugin") and the paid build Mass Custom Fields Pro (the "Pro plugin"). Use of the website is covered by the terms of use.
Acceptance
By installing the plugin or buying a license you accept these terms. If you act for a company, you confirm that you may bind it.
The Free plugin and the GPL
- The Free plugin is distributed on WordPress.org under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later. The license text applies to the code and takes precedence over these terms where they conflict.
- It is free of charge. Support for it is described in the support policy.
The Pro plugin and plans
- The Pro plugin is sold through Freemius, the merchant of record. Payment, taxes, invoices and license delivery are handled by Freemius under its own terms, which apply to the purchase in addition to these.
- The plans are Pro (1 site), Business (5 sites) and Agency (unlimited sites). A license is valid for the number of sites of your plan and for the period you paid for. Features and limits per plan are on the product page.
- The Pro plugin code is also licensed under the GPL. The license key gives you the right to receive updates and support and to use the features of your plan through the licensing service.
- You may not share a license key beyond the number of sites in your plan, or resell access to it. [STAGING_SITE_POLICY]
Trial
A 14-day free trial is available without a payment card. A site can use the trial once. When it ends without a purchase, Pro features stop at once and your data stays in your database.
Renewal, expiry and your data
Licenses renew according to the billing cycle shown at checkout unless you cancel in your Freemius account before renewal. When a license or trial ends, updates and email support stop, and features that create or change content pause. Your data is kept. Generated pages stay online for a 14-day grace period after a paid license expires, as described on the product page; a trial that ends has no grace period. WPMass does not hold your site's data and cannot restore data you deleted from your own database.
Refunds
Refunds follow the refund policy.
Pricing and taxes
Prices are shown at checkout by Freemius and may change for future purchases and renewals. Applicable taxes are calculated and collected by Freemius as merchant of record.
Acceptable use
You will not use the plugin to break the law, to infringe others' rights, to attack or overload our or others' systems, or to circumvent license checks. You are responsible for the content your site generates, including pages generated in bulk and text produced by AI providers you connect with your own keys, and for complying with the terms of those providers and of search engines.
Third-party services
The plugin can contact services you choose or enable, such as OpenStreetMap, Google Maps, oEmbed providers, Google Sheets, OpenAI, Anthropic and Google Gemini. Those services are governed by their own terms, and you are responsible for the keys and accounts you connect. See the privacy notice.
Intellectual property
WPMass and its licensors keep their rights in the plugin and the names "WPMass" and "Mass Custom Fields", except as the GPL grants. You keep all rights in your own content and data.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the extent permitted by law, the plugin is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. You are responsible for backups of your site and database before changing schemas, importing, converting or generating pages in bulk.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, WPMass is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data or lost traffic, and its total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the license in the [LIABILITY_PERIOD] before the event. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Termination
You may stop using the plugin at any time. We may suspend a license that breaches these terms, after notice where reasonable. Sections that by nature survive termination continue to apply.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version and date are shown on this page, and material changes will be announced [NOTICE_METHOD]. Continued use after the change means acceptance.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of [GOVERNING_LAW]. The courts of [JURISDICTION] have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
