Pro fields, admin columns and page builders overview
3 min read
This section covers three groups of features that sit on top of the field groups you already know:
- Pro field types that store richer values: Gallery, Flexible content, Clone and Programmatic SEO page.
- Admin columns: values of your fields as columns in the WordPress lists (posts, users, terms). Showing a column is free. Filters, quick edit, bulk edit and CSV export of a list are Pro.
- Page builders: field values as dynamic data in Elementor, Bricks, Divi 4, Breakdance and Oxygen Classic, a free Elementor Field widget,
{{ }}variables in Elementor widgets, Elementor display conditions, and the Pro Elementor widgets (Repeater, Field gallery, Post grid, Data table list, Field form). Also in this section: how the plugin clears page caches.

Where the data lives
Pro field types store their values in the field group's table like every other field: Gallery, Flexible content and Clone in a JSON column, the Programmatic SEO page field in a BIGINT column. Nothing is added to wp_postmeta. See Field groups overview.
Admin columns, filters and the builder integrations only read your values (and quick or bulk edit writes them through the field types' own sanitizing). They never change your field group definitions.
